THANKSGIVING TABLE

THANKSGIVING FRUIT BOWL
AND CANDLE CENTRE PIECE
Made from a beautiful Golden Hubbard
squash. Bake the squash in a 350 degree
oven for about two hours. Allow to cool,
cut in half, scrape out the seeds and flesh...
Now you have two seasonal bowls. Make sure
to save the seeds, rinse off the stringy parts,
season with a little cayenne pepper and curry
powder, toast in toaster oven for several minutes
until dry. Very tasty!

ACORN CANDLE HOLDER CENTRE PIECE
I've collected acorns all fall while out walking.
The squirrels shared enough with me to decorate
my Thanksgiving table.

My Grandsons and I gathered up pretty fall
leaves and pressed them. When dry we placed them on our
table and protected them with a covering of  clear vinyl.
