My four year old granddaughter
and I made these adorable little
sit in the palm of your hand mice.
They have a comfy bed of silky
milkweed fluff tucked into a
milkweed pod. Their whiskers
are made from cutting a tiny piece
from the kitchen broom. We found the
milkweed while visiting a farm near Montreal
during our latest visit there.
My granddaughter has her own ideas
about what colors a mouse ought to be!

Milkweed seed floating on a gentle breeze
A fun backyard game of catching the
seeds as they drift past.
